How can caregivers work with out-of-state siblings/family members who have concerns about the way the caregiver is providing care? Are there local organizations that can work with families to resolve disputes to prevent the need for legal/court involvement? How can having durable powers of attorney and patient advocate designations prevent or mitigate disputes? What can be done when one family member does "all the work" and others do "nothing"? What if a parent needs help, but refuses to accept the help? What if a parent doesn't have a patient advocate designation and family members don't agree on end of life decisions?
