Organizations, who in some capacity serve family caregivers, are invited to attend a Member Orientation to learn more about becoming a member. The Member Orientation sessions are held at the end of each bi-monthly Caregiver Resource Network (CRN) meeting. For more information on upcoming meetings, contact crninfo@aaawm.org.
Benefits of Caregiver Resource Network (CRN) membership:
- Information Sharing (learn new strategies, ideas, resources)
- Marketing/networking/visibility among potential referral sources
- Opportunities for community service
- Shared and common message/goals
- Education (learning from one another; learning about trends, related research findings, best practices, etc.)
- Opportunities for group advocacy
- Help prevent burn-out among professionals (reduce isolation)
- Organization recognition on CRN website and relevant materials
- Organization website added as link on the CRN website
CRN Members agree to the following:
- Attend an orientation meeting – offered the last 15 minutes of every regularly scheduled CRN meeting
- Regular attendance by organization at meetings (determined by attendance at 50% of CRN meetings)
- Participation in one CRN sponsored project annually
- Letter of agreement (signed by organization’s leadership; specifying membership expectations)
